Moving on from music research, I'm going to use this for my current hobby - taking our Japanese Spitz puppies out to play with others. It will be good to have a central place for the photo's of play days; all members of the groups are welcome to look here for their furkids too...

Oz - Mar 1980
Seems March 1980 was a big month in Oz. Whilst cataloguing the March hits I found the following two items. The covers are special and reveal the time as it was...
1. London Calling: ranked at number eight on Rolling Stone' list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003. London Calling has sold over two million copies worldwide.
2. Brass In Pocket: The band's third single, it was their first success, scoring number two in Australia during 1980, and number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. Chrissie Hynde revealed that she was initially reluctant to have the song released and remembers feeling a bit sheepish when it went to number one.
